Because we have no future without protecting our environment and that of our children, Karisma is continuously seeking materials and production methods compatible with a sustainable energy economy. Thus, certain materials like plasticisers traditionally used in hairdressing furniture have been replaced by new components derived from renewable raw materials such as ethical and organic cotton respecting the international GOTS (The Global Organic Textile Standard) standards. Karisma also uses solvent-free glues and water to make its upholstery, and the padding of its chairs is free from CFCs and HCFCs, harmful to the ozone layer.
